Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions ABOUT PRICING, PRODUCTS AND POLICIES

Below are answers to some of the most common questions about pricing, products, and policies. My goal is to be as clear and transparent as possible, so you know exactly what to expect. If you have any additional questions or would like more details, I’m always happy to help — just submit an inquiry and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

A $200 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session. The remaining balance is due on or before your session date. A signed agreement is also required along with your deposit to officially reserve your session.

Yes. Every portrait session includes a collection of professionally edited digital files to get you started. After viewing your gallery, you’ll have the option to purchase additional digitals or upgrade to a print package.

No. There is no requirement to purchase prints or products. While I do highly recommend professional prints and artwork for their beauty and longevity, all product purchases are optional and chosen by you after you see your images.

No, I do not release raw or unedited image files. Raw images are not a finished product and do not reflect the final quality or artistic style of my work. During your session, multiple images are captured of each setup, and you’ll be able to view a proofing gallery and select your favorite images for editing. If you fall in love with more images than are included, you’ll have the option to purchase additional files.

After your session, you’ll receive a proofing gallery of unedited images to review. This gallery is typically delivered within a few days of your session. Once you’ve made your selections, final editing takes approximately 7-10 business days. Turnaround time depends on how quickly selections are submitted—so the sooner I receive your choices, the sooner your finished images will be ready. If you’re working within a specific timeframe and need images by a certain date, rush editing is often available for an additional fee.

Newborn sessions require additional time, training, and preparation, along with a fully equipped professional studio and a carefully guided workflow. Pricing reflects the experience, safety considerations, and level of care involved in photographing your baby.

I typically offer a limited number of mini session opportunities throughout the year. These sessions are usually seasonal and/or themed events (such as Santa and holiday portraits). Mini sessions are not offered as a shorter or discounted version of a regular portrait session. Mini sessions are first announced to current clients and newsletter subscribers.
